The Knights of Columbus, Van Nuys Council 3148 was established in 1949 to serve the San Fernando Valley. The Knights of Columbus continue to be a pillar of the larger community, beyond our immediate surroundings, wherever there is a need in the world.

Our core principal values of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism are exemplified by the hours dedicated to service by our Knights and the countless funds raised to better the parishes and communities we serve in Jesus' Holy name, regardless of religious affiliation.

Here are some examples of our activities.
Children’s Christmas Party
Every year we seek toy donations to host a children’s Christmas party at our Valerio Street hall. Children up to age 12 have the opportunity to visit Santa, select a new toy of their choice, enjoy a food item, fruit, snacks and goody bag. Older children with mental or physical disabilities are also served. This non-denominational event is open to all children. Many parents who bring their children attended this event as a child. It is certainly a Blessing to have the opportunity to bring joy to children and their parents at Christmas time and we thank our generous donors.
Choosing Life
We take a stand for the right to life, at all stages of life for everyone.
Supporting Parishes and Communities
You will see us at your parish and in your community. Council 3148 has been actively serving the San Fernando Valley community for over 72 years.
